Hi Everyone!

I'm Niki.

I qualified as a Hair Stylist in 1999, two years after I left a course in Animal Care, having decided despite my love of animals, it wasn't the right path for me. I took a weekend job in a hair salon whilst I contemplated my future, and to my surprise - LOVED it!

I get such a warm fuzzy feeling from making people feel better about themselves, starting with their hair.

Growing up, being the only girl in a house with three brothers my Mum didn't have the time, or knowledge, to tame my ever increasing curls. I knew what it felt like to not be happy under my hair.

By age 26, with hair considerably more under control, an opportunity arose for me to take over the salon I was working in. Definitely a challenge, but one that I embraced until in 2005 when I got married and we started a family. Now all three of them are at school, I balance my job with being their Mum and walking our dog in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside.

I love the creative aspect of Hairdressing. But it's also a pleasure to get to know people, what makes them happy, what makes them laugh and how to lift them up when they're having a bad day.

Often visiting people in their own homes, I get to drive around a beautiful part of the country, to visit people I look forward to seeing, doing a job that I love...and as if that needed a cherry on top, many homes have pets that I get to gush over too!

I specialise in cutting and hair colouring techniques and enjoy keeping up to date with the newest trends such as Balayage and Root Stretching. But there will always be a special place in my heart for people struggling to cope with their curly hair.

Please contact me to arrange a visit!

I look forward to meeting you!

Business Philosophy

During lock-down I have been busy on-line training, branching out into website design (ha!) as well as extra colour training and a Vidal Sassoon online cutting course, where i'm more in my comfort zone. I have also had some business coaching which has led to me analysing not only the "numbers" side of my business, but also client experience.  Using what I have learnt, I have tweaked my pricing structure, to still provide the professional and friendly service you expect of me, but structured in a way that is more 'client friendly'. You may notice that some items have gone up a little, this is because I've made my prices fully inclusive, to avoid add-ons and "how much?!" moments.

I use the best professional products and now include in the price items such as Olaplex where I consider this to be vital to the long term health of my client's hair.  I aim to provide the look you want with the care your hair needs from root to tip. It is my hope that you love your hair and feel confident in how to handle it. So if you ever have a "bad hair day", get in touch, I'm here to help.

At this time, I am at full capacity and unfortunately unable to accommodate new clients.

Please follow me on my social media for updates and last minute appointments as well as for tips and tricks on your hair that I hope will help you in the mean time.
